During the war, life takes a different meaning, everything about what is considered normality will simply disappear. The daily routine is definitely abnormal, even if it seems normal to those who live there surrounded by such circumstances. Everyday bombs drop, people die, buildings are destroyed. The reality of the war cannot be denied, however, there are those who are significantly trying to resist the bitterness of this war using their determination, their hope and their desire to live. This project illustrates the struggle of civilians to overcome war in the area of Eastern Ghouta, Syria which was besieged by the Syrian government for over 5 years. The siege has finally ended when the Syrian regime, supported by Russian forces, has left no choice to the people but to flee the area after months of intensive bombing causing the death of thousands and led to total destruction of the area.
